This is the house we are in the process of buying. The survey has hopefully happened today, which we should have back towards the end of the week. We opted for the full monty, or in other words the surveyor lifts manhole covers and goes up ladders with a torch etc.We're thinking of extending the already existing extension, so I mentioned to him about checking whether this is possible. Also there appears to be rather a large fireplace that's boarded up in the dining room. I asked whether the surveyor could find out any more. But I suspect Steven's deftnes with a hammer will anser that within hours when we move in!
